Funeral Service for Anthony DiLisio

Issued: June 6, 2010
Contact: Joe Kohn, infodesk@aod.org / (313) 237-5943

The funeral service for Anthony DiLisio, a U.S. Marine who died in combat in Afghanistan on May 30, will be held on Monday, June 7, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul of Tarsus Church, 41300 Romeo Plank Road in Clinton Township. The body will lie in-state a half-hour preceding the service. Fr. Ronald Victor, pastor of St. Athanasius Church in Roseville, will preside at the funeral.

Due to the solemnity of the occasion and out of respect for the family, the Archdiocesan Department of Communications asks that no recording devices – video, audio or still photography – be allowed inside the church building while the body lies in state or during the funeral service. Media representatives and media vehicles will not be allowed in the church parking lot or on parish property at this time.

Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. To contact cemetery management about its media policy, please call (248) 496-3536.
