Provides a day warming/cooling center for the downtown area homeless throughout the year. Offers case management emergency services and medical assistance for homeless and residents in the 48226 zip code. Serves the downtown disabled and senior population with a holistic approach to the needs of the body, mind and spirit.
In addition to serving two hot meals each day to the city’s poor (breakfast and lunch), the Soup Kitchen also provides clothing appliances and furniture to those burned out of their homes.
Co-sponsored by St. Peter Episcopal and Most Holy Trinity churches, Manna serves free meals on site from 9-11 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays.
The outreach center distributes food and clothing to homeless, unemployed and working poor residents in the 48201, 48202, 48208, 48216 and 48238 zip codes. Open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
